“Three Sisters” development faces tough go in down economy

The 5,000-acre Three Sisters development in Blount County is located on and around Chilhowee Mountain. The property is named “The Three Sisters” because of the view of three mountain peaks from Maryville College. It is Blount County’s biggest land deal since the 30’s. The timing for resort development is bad and the future is uncertain. I, for one, hope these ‘rich developers’ succeed. To the extent that they do, it will help us all. More at KnoxNews.com.
