Asbuilt Survey – 1st Choice Auto
PLS has completed the final asbuilt survey for 1st Choice Auto in Solway. We also provided the original boundary and topographic survey for design, including resubdivision and road closure.
Scouting 120 acres
We are currently surveying 120 acres for Dr. Joe Black (of Black and Benton Pediatricians). The property abuts the Knox/Anderson County line. Deeds are sketchy with vague descriptions perpetuated over decades. My preliminary approach is to use a geo-referenced USGS Quad sheet to develop coordinates to which I can navigate using hand-held GPS. That approach was moderately successful, yielding the property corners pictured below. It is a good start.
FEMA Flood Certification – FREDS
PLS performed a FEMA Flood Certification for the FREDS store yesterday, 522 S. Main Street, Sweetwater, TN (Monroe County).
Coyatee Shores, Tellico Village
PLS is currently providing surveying and staking services for additions to a lake-front home in Coyatee Shores, Tellico Village.
Bethany Springs, Halls
PLS provided surveying, site design, and construction staking services from concept plan to final plat for Bethany Springs subdivision and condominium development, Knoxville TN, in the Halls Community. The site contains 56 lots and 54 condominium units off McCloud Road. Lots are still available.
Suburban Mfg., Dayton TN
PLS performed an ALTAL/ACSM Land Title Survey of Suburban Mfg. in Dayton, TN (Rhea County).
ALTA Survey Bi-Lo Chattanooga
PLS performed an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey of the Bi-Lo at 7804 E. Brainerd Road in Chattanooga, TN (Hamilton County).
I-640 Plaza
PLS performed an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey for I-640 Plaza, located at Interstate 640 and Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN.
Merchants Corner
PLS provided the resubdivision plat and base topographic survey for design and development of Merchant’s Corner. Architect: Byrd & Cooper.
NAPA Auto Parts, Clinton Hwy
PLS performed the base boundary, topographic survey, and resubdivision to facilitate design for NAPA Auto Parts at Clinton Highway & Inskip Road. New intersection signalization was required. The survey included all work necessary to redesign the intersection per TDOT specifications.
